Garden Of Remembrance
In 2000 the Garden of Remembrance was created. This provides a place for quiet reflection for visitors to the cemetery.
The garden is planted with aromatic plants such as roses, honeysuckle, lavender, and rosemary. The centerpiece of the garden is an Armillary Sphere engraved to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Many of the roses planted here also have names with royal connections, for example, The Princess Margaret rose.
The burial of cremated remains may take place in the Garden, and an engraved bronze plaque added to the plinth supporting the Armilliary Sphere.
