Beversbrook Sports Project - News & Project History
July 2007
The Lead Consultant has been appointed, as has the Design Team. The latter consists of an Architect, Structural Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Services Engineer, CDM Coordinator, Landscape Architect, Pitch Construction Consultant, & Ecology / Environmental Consultant. The project has been split into two sub-projects: (1) Pitch construction and landscaping; (2) Pavilion construction, car park and infrastructure.
We are about to go out to tender on (1) and hope to begin work on site during September. We will be going out to tender for the pavillion (2) during September with a start on site December/January.
We are still working towards having the pitches ready for play by Autumn 2008, but much will depend on the weather and how well/quickly the grass grows (or not!).
