Calne Town Council operate at the most local level of government. The services we provide directly benefit the people living in within the town of Calne.
Our services are funded by a charge made on the Council Tax paid by residents of the town. Unlike other local authorities, Town & Parish Councils do not receive any funding from businesses or central government.
The amount of tax paid to Calne Town Council is only a small part of your annual council tax bill. You can find out more about council tax by accessing www.northwilts.gov.uk (external link).
