Youth Strategy Questionnaire In response to the introduction of legislation, policy guidance and best practice, the District Council has included the development of a Youth Strategy in its corporate priorities. In addition to its statutory responsibility, the District Council recognises that a Youth Strategy offers opportunities for improving the delivery of its services to young people. The Council also accepts that young people must have equal opportunity to be consulted and involved in decision making. The Youth Strategy has been produced following a consultation exercise involving members of the Young Peoples Council, elected Member representatives and officers from teams across all business areas. The draft Strategy document describes how the Council will work with its partners to address issues affecting the quality of life and well-being of young people. In accordance with Wiltshire Compact guidance, a consultation exercise will take place between 12th January 2007 and 12th March 2007. Young people living in North Wiltshire and partner service organisations are invited to give us your comments on the content of the Strategy. Please complete one of the questionnaires and make sure that you return your comments by 12th March 2007.
