The Authority monitors and evaluates the performance of all schools using a range of indicators, including performance data from tests and teacher assessment at each Key Stage.

We provide challenge and support to build capacity to sustain improvement in a way that reflects the spirit of the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) Code of Conduct for LEA/School Relations. All our work is intended to help schools become autonomous and self improving. In this way we support the on-going improvement in standards for children in Wiltshire schools.
