| Building Control provide a service to secure dangerous buildings. See Dangerous structures and public safety Empty Homes Grant The Council has an Empty Homes grant to enable owners to bring properties back into use. In return the Council requires that the property is let, or leased to a housing association for a period of five years. This helps to provide a decent home for people in housing need and a regular income for the owner. In addition to financial support the Council is able to offer advice and assistance. |
