Alternative ways to pay

By Direct Debit

The simplest and easiest way to make regular payments.  You can download by clicking on the link below or by telephoning Customer Relations on 01249 706246 and request the form.  Payments are taken on the 1st of the month and you are protected through the Direct Debit Guarantee Scheme.

By Telephone

Our 24 hour payment line accepts all Debit and Credit Cards – please ensure that you have your reference number to hand. To access the service dial 0845 275 0123.

At the Post Office

Payments for your Council Tax and Non Domestic Rates may be made by cash or cheque at any Post Office in the country. This service is free to users, however you must apply for a payment card on 01249 706246.  

By Telephone or PC Banking

Inform your bank of the amount you want to pay and your reference number and the Council's bank account details, as shown below

By Post

You can send your cheque made payable to North Wiltshire District Council along with your reference number to Customer Relations, North Wiltshire District Council, Monkton Park, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 1ER.

At the Council’s Offices

Payments can be made in person by cheque or with your debit or credit card at the Monkton Park Offices. Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm.

If you are experiencing difficulties paying your Rent or Council Tax you may be entitled to Housing or Council Tax Benefit.  The amount of Benefit depends on your income and household circumstances.  For full details and an application form, please contact Customer Relations on 01249 706246
