| Description of Service |
| It is widely accepted that children do best if they are brought up within their family. Children are only separated from their family when they are considered to be at risk of ‘significant harm’ and wherever possible they are returned home with extra support as soon as this becomes possible. If we feel it is inappropriate for a child to remain within the family home we will try to find other family members who will care for the child in their home. However, in certain situtations this is not possible and a child will need to be placed in foster or residential care. |
