‘A Community Strategy for North Wiltshire’ is the parent document of the 5 ‘Community Area Local Plans’. It contains the overarching themes and issues that are important to the people of North Wiltshire.

The Strategy was created after comprehensive community based consultation. It suggests how the Partnership along with local partners could work together to address key issues in the district.

The document was designed by the ‘North Wiltshire Partnership’ (NWP) which is the Local Strategic Partnership for our district.

The NWP launched the Strategy for North Wiltshire at its annual conference held at the Neeld Hall on Thursday 17^th November.

Over 70 decision makers and representatives of groups and organisations that provide services in North Wiltshire attended the conference and participated in workshops to agree plans for actions that will make a positive difference across the District.

The day was a great success with many innovative ideas and suggested areas of action coming forward. The North Wiltshire Partnership will now build on the outcomes of the day to progress the delivery of the actions agreed.
