North Wiltshire District Council is working harder to involve young people and increase participation opportunities to raise young people’s voice and influence.  This work was consolidated by the facilitation of a youth conference in October 2004 held in partnership with Wiltshire County Council and young people.  Since then we have committed to the coordination of a young people's council who meet regularly and who under go a programme of personal development.  We also work in partnership with relevant organisations on one off projects designed to engage with harder to reach groups of young people to ensure a wide range of young people are participating.
