NWDC Energy Efficiency Grants Scheme
As part of North Wiltshire District Councils commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, a number of village halls and community buildings throughout North Wiltshire have been awarded grants to implement energy efficiency measures. Severn Wye Energy Agency, an energy advice centre and registered charity, worked with North Wiltshire District Council to carry out 36 energy audits on community buildings during June and JulyAs a result over the next six months, substantial work will be carried out across the district including:
- Cavity wall insulation
- Loft insulation
- Heating installation
- Double and secondary glazing
- Draught proofing
- Lighting improvements
All improvements must be delivered by March 31st 2009
