How is my Council Tax Bill Calculated?

Bills are based on the property value on 1 April 1991.

A valuation band is set by the Valuation Office Agency, an executive agency of the Inland Revenue.  The District Council is not involved.  The valuation band for your property is shown on the front of your Demand Notice.
