A new Corporate Management Board was formed in January 2004, which is made up of the Chief Executive, and four Strategic Managers. The Chief Executive is Head of the Paid Service and, as such, carries ultimate responsibility for the performance and conduct of the Council.
The Corporate Management Board collectively shares responsibility for the strategic management and leadership of the Council, the management of its performance and delivery of the Council’s priorities and aims, which are highlighted as key actions in this Plan.
