Standards Committee

A Standards Committee is required by law. It comprises not only District Councillors but also Town/Parish Council representatives and Independent members. The purpose of the Committee is to consider issues relating to the Code of Conduct for Councillors. The powers of the Committee are mainly governed by legal regulations.
