I've moved house recently - how do I register?

The annual canvass takes place each Autumn, and throughout that period the law says that it is not possible to update the register on a monthly basis. For the rest of the year (from January to August) the register can be updated every month. There are a few procedures to be followed, and under existing law, all additions to the register require a hard copy signature. You will need to complete a simple claim form, and normally you can be added to the register within three to six weeks, depending on when the application is received.
