Electoral Review For The New Wiltshire Council

The new Council will be receiving additional responsibilities in 2009. Before it does the Boundary Committee are carrying out a review and want to hear views on how the new Council should be made up.

How many Councillors should there be?
Where is your local community?
What does community mean to you?
Which division should you be in?
Where should the boundaries of your division be?

The Review Process

There are four stages to the Review.

Stage	Timescale	What Happens
Stage One	26/02/08 to 21/04/08	First public consultation
Stage Two	22/04/08 to 01/07/08	Boundary Committee to deliberate and form draft recommendations
Stage Three	02/07/08 to 25/08/08	Consultation of draft recommendations*
Stage Four	26/08/08 to 31/10/08	Boundary Committee to deliberate and finalise recommendations to the Electoral Commissioners
