There are 5 Area Committees covering the District, each with a remit to discuss issues relating to their area e.g. the Wootton Bassett and Cricklade Area meeting may receive a presentation about the Cotswold Water Park whilst the Malmesbury Area may discuss the provision of a new swimming pool.  Each Area Committee has a budget for aiding local projects, and community groups can apply to receive money from this budget.
