Overview and Scrutiny

One of the main roles of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee is to review and develop Council policy ensuring that issues affecting the District are recognised and addressed.  The other main function is the role of ‘critical friend’ - helping to review processes and procedures to check that actions and decisions are being made within Council Policy and the law.
