Gender Equality Scheme

The Scheme is part of the Council's Corporate Equality and Diversity policies which aim to:
  • Tackle discrimination
  • Prevent harassment
  • Ensure that all council activities promote quality of opportunity.
The Gender Equality Scheme is important for women and men to promote equality of opportunity.  The action plan sets out the Council's approach to eliminating unlawful inequalities and I commend it to you.
