Emergency planning

The Council is responsible for preparing and maintaining a contingency plan which will enable us to provide a fast, efficient, effective and caring response to any civil emergency, major incident or other crisis.

We participate in working groups aimed at improving the coordinated response to major incidents, including Wiltshire County Council, other local authorities, the emergency services, voluntary agencies, major utilities and government departments.
