Climate Change in North Wiltshire

North Wiltshire District Council has committed itself to the task of helping to reduce global warming by initiating a Climate Change policy.

An Officers Energy Saving Group has been set up and its immediate task is to review past policies and to concentrate on delivering a range of practical actions to reduce the impact on the environment.  Officers will be delivering a range of in-house improvements and support any initiatives that meet its objectives.

This website is designed not only to inform the public about matters relating to climate change but to give practical guidance on what individuals, organisations and the community can do to slow down global warming.  On these pages you will also find useful links to other websites.
