Enforcement Complaints

All matters that are brought to our attention will be investigated. Some minor matters will not require formal investigation whilst others will involve site visits and/or considerable legal research. This may take some time, though officers will endeavour to complete an initial site visit where necessary within 10 working days of registering a relevant complaint.

Complainants will have their complaint acknowledged within five working days, and will thereafter be advised of what action is to be taken if this is possible. They will also be advised of the final decision. This communication will be in confidence.
