Report a missed collection
If you think that your household waste collection has been missed, firstly check the list below to make sure there is not a reason why your rubbish could not be collected:
- Did you put your wheeled bin out on the correct day?, bearing in mind any possible changes due to Bank Holidays.
- Was your wheeled bin put out at the edge of your property, next to the public highway, or agreed collection point by 7.00am?
- Was there any unacceptable waste in your rubbish?
- Was the lid of your wheeled bin closed?
- Was any additional waste left beside your wheeled bin?
- Was any waste stuck or could have frozen or jammed in your wheeled bin?, for example: a piece of cardboard or wood.
- That you have told us if you have moved to a new property.
- Are there any roadworks or parked vehicles restricting access to collect the wheeled bin?
