The Council has a statutory duty, under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, to ensure that any land under our control is, as far as practicable, kept clear of litter and refuse.

Responding to incidents of fly-tipping, over filled bins or even problems with the Council’s public conveniences is the role of North Wiltshire District Council’s newly formed Emergency Response Team.
