The Emergency response team

Emergency Response Team (Litter collection)

Responding to incidents of fly-tipping, over filled bins or even problems with the council’s public conveniences will be the role of North Wiltshire District Council’s newly formed Emergency Response Team.

Two new emergency response teams have taken to the streets to respond to reported incidents of fly-tipping, over filled bins, spot clean ups or problems with the council’s public conveniences. They will also offer extra support to respond to peak time workloads and ensure the best possible service is available to customers.

The response team has been formed as part of improvements to North Wiltshire District Council’s Streetscene.  Streetscene includes refuse collectors, street cleaners, grass cutting and general ground maintenance. The team encourage everyone to care about their local environment and work to improve it.

To help the team tackle problems in your area you can report any litter or fly-tipping incidents to the Emergency Response Teams on: 01249 706111 or online using our Request a Service form.
