Decent Homes
The decent homes grant is designed to improve the quality of housing in North Wiltshire.
Who is eligible?
This grant is for anyone who:-
- owns their home or
- is a tenant with responsibility for repairs
You also need to be:-
- in receipt of a means tested benefit such as housing benefit, income support, pension credit or
- if you are in receipt of a disability related benefit such as DLA then depending on your other finances you may be eligible
What does the grant cover?
A grant is available for:-
- repairs to external wall, chimneys and roofs, windows and doors
- re-wiring or electrical repairs
- repairs to and replacement of central heating boilers
- plumbing works
- loft and cavity wall insulation
- Warm Front top up grants for heating repairs
