Fuel suppliers are required to meet targets set by the Government to reduce carbon emissions and to help reduce the effects of climate change. Free insulation grants for the over 70s is one way of doing this . It will also improve the energy efficiency of your home.

Anyone aged 70 or over is now entitled to a grant that will cover the entire cost of insulation works to their property.

This scheme is available to anyone over 70 whether they live in rented or privately owned accommodation, regardless of their income.
