Funding Criteria

You need to make sure that your application meets all the essential criteria shown below:

You are resident in North Wiltshire.
You will be under the age of 19 on the 31^st September 2008.
You must be already involved in elite sport to a minimum of County representative level and preferably to a Regional level
You must be applying for support in an Olympic sport – see attached list.
You must include details of the costs incurred through your involvement in your sport including accommodation, transport, competition entry fees, equipment costs etc.
You must include a letter of support from a relevant National Governing Body representative to prove your involvement in that sport and confirm that you are involved in representative sport to County level as a minimum.
Funding will not be awarded for retrospective costs – any award made will be for the provision of future costs associated with your involvement in your sport.
Applicants must acknowledge District Council financial support in any press articles written about them.
Successful applicants are required to liaise with the District Council’s Press and Media Officer to ensure appropriate media coverage.
