Business as usual for North Wiltshire customers

North Wiltshire District Council would like to reassure all its customers that the services it currently provides will continue to be delivered and that it will be working closely with the county council and the three Wiltshire district councils to ensure the transition to one new council is as smooth as possible, minimising the impact on the local communities. The new council will provide a new set of opportunities and the council is confident that the skills and expertise that it has in providing front line and support services will be critical to helping the new council to succeed.

The human resource teams across all five councils will start work with immediate effect to look at the implications for all staff and how this can be best managed to ensure that as far as possible service delivery will continue as usual. Senior managers across all five authorities will start work on looking at how best services can be amalgamated to be more efficient and customer focused.
