What is available for the disabled?

Disabled people also have the options of either a bus pass or tokens. You must provide supporting evidence to the Council of your disability.

Supporting information includes:

Copy of your Disability Living Allowance Book
Entitlement Notice with higher rate mobility component or War Pensioners Mobility Supplement or Incapacity Benefit book or Income Support with severe disablement allowance book (photocopy must show both your name and address and the rate of allowance you receive).
Copy of your Blue Badge (photocopy must show the Blue Badge Number, expiry date and photo). Please note that if claiming for a companion more information will be required.
Copy of your blind person's/disabled certificate of registration.
Confirmation of your disability from a social worker or some other official body (confirmation must be on the official body's headed paper and signed by a qualified official).
