Blue Parking Badges for the disabled

The Blue Badge Scheme is administered by Wiltshire County Council's Customer Care Unit.

The Blue Badge Scheme (formerly the Orange Badge Scheme) provides considerable parking concessions for people with severe walking difficulties who travel as either drivers or passengers.  The badge is issued solely for the use of the disabled person.  Applications from the public will not be considered where difficulty in walking is temporary or intermittent.  It is available for people with limited mobility, who use a wheelchair or who are registered blind.  Applications for new badges can now be carried out over the phone.
